Zero Repeat Forever

A few months ago I started reading the book ‘Zero Repeat Forever’. It was described as beauty and the beast meets the 5^th wave. A dystopian YA fantasy novel. It is about an alien invasion on planet earth, but the scene is set in Canada. Raven her boyfriend got in trouble and for that, her and her friends had to council a camp. They had to be at the campsite a few weeks before the campers arrived so they could get everything ready. But in the end, no camper ever arrived. During their stay in the woods, earth got taken over by aliens they officially named Nahx. Raven and het team have to survive and find other people that survived the first wave of attacks. But during their search something unexpected happens with Raven.

I usually like books like this but when I started reading the book, I wasn’t a fan of it. The characters were very flat and nothing really happened. But I already bought the second book (Cold Falling White), so I had to continue reading. After about a hundred pages I really started to enjoy it. Raven, the main character, started to develop a strong personality and the scene became clear. The titles of both books may seem a bit weird, but when you read the books, they are explained and the meaning of them is really beautiful.

I would  recommend these books to everyone who likes action, because once you start reading, you can’t stop. Right now there are only two books out, because the publisher is having some problems. But  I can’t wait to read the 3th book, because the 2^nd ends with a cliffhanger and I really want to know what happens next.
